to,xon: bow. to,xa is often used as singular, with reference to the different parts of one bow.  In Homer it is pictured as being made from goat horns, but later of wood and other materials.

It is used in the NT only in Revelation 6:2 of the rider on the white horse who went out for the purpose of world conquest.
