4. Do you remember some of the many questions Jesus asked? Write down a few. Why do you suppose He asked questions?

5. What does the author mean by saying, “The good teacher needs to ‘learn’ others.”?

6. In what way did George Washington Carver think of nature as a great radio station? (Cf. Psalms 19)

7. Is the teacher a kind of model? Explain.

8. What caused Mark Hopkins to be known as a great teacher?

9. Explain “be like Christ”, “be visible”, “be open and honest”, “develop a relationship with your students.”

10. List the things a teacher can do to show love to his students.

11. Discuss the role of the teacher as a motivator.

12. What do you think about the use of awards?

13. Do you agree with the idea that a teacher should be a “boss”?

14. What about your Sunday School and primary school teachers? Which do you count as favorites? Were they the lenient ones or the disciplinarians? Explain.
