7ES 1:1 Raging storms, evil gods are they

7ES 1:5 Destruction to work.
7ES 1:6 Of these seven the first is the South wind...
7ES 1:7 The second is a dragon, whose mouth is opened...
7ES 1:8 That none can measure.
7ES 1:9 The third is a grim leopard, which carries off the young ...
7ES 1:10 The fourth is a terrible Shibbu ...
7ES 1:11 The fifth is a furious Wolf, who knoweth not to flee,
7ES 1:12 The sixth is a rampant ... which marches against god and king.
7ES 1:13 The seventh is a storm, an evil wind, which takes vengeance,
7ES 1:14 Seven are they, messengers to King Anu are they,
7ES 1:15 From city to city darkness work they,
7ES 1:16 A hurricane, which mightily hunts in the heavens, are they
7ES 1:17 Thick clouds, that bring darkness in heaven, are they,

7ES 1:20 The overflowing of Adad [3] mighty destroyers, are they,

7ES 1:22 In the height of heaven, like lightning flashing, are they,

7ES 1:24 In the broad heaven, the home of Anu, the King, evilly do they arise, and none to oppose.
7ES 1:25 When Enlil heard these tidings, a plan in his heart he pondered,
7ES 1:26 With Ea, exalted Massu of the gods, be took counsel. Sin, Shamash, and Ishtar, whom he had set to order the vault of heaven,
7ES 1:27 With Anu he divided the lordship of the whole heaven,
7ES 1:28 To these three gods, his offspring
7ES 1:29 Day and night, without ceasing, he ordained to stand,
7ES 1:30 When the seven evil gods stormed the vault of heaven,

7ES 1:50 The tidings of my son Sin, who in heaven has been sadly darkened,
7ES 1:51 Unto Ea, in the ocean, announce it."
7ES 1:52 Nusku exalted the word of his lord,
7ES 1:53 To Ea, in the ocean, he went quickly,
